Event Details

The countdown to Christmas is on and Chowan County is kicking it off! Food trucks start at 4:00 pm in the Barker House parking lot and children's inflatables and face painting offered to begin at 4:00 pm. Additional fun includes cooking decorating, cotton candy machine, hot cocoa, mini donuts, and more!

For the second time in history, visitors and locals can enjoy a Winter Express experience on our historic trolley. Tickets are $8 for anyone over the age of 1. Reservations can be made at the Penelope Barker House Welcome Center. For more info & ticket purchase, call (252) 482-7800.

BYOB: Bring Your Own Blanket! Storytime and crafts with the Shepard-Pruden Memorial Library starts at 4:00 pm.
