During MUMfest Weekend, visitors to Tryon Palace will enjoy the beauty of thousands of chrysanthemums in the Palace gardens. Free informal garden tours will be given each day.
Gardens open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Tryon Palace was the 18th-century residence of the governor of the colony and state of North Carolina. The site 22 acres with 13 beautiful period gardens and three historic homes from the 18th and 19th centuries.
