Foothills Native American Powwow  2012

The Annual Foothills Native American Powwow honors all Veterans men & women of all Nationalities Including Indians & Native Americans. Open To The Public of all people. The Powwow is held annually Labor Day Weekend Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Powwow s Against child Abuse is joining Bikers Against Child Abuse, Blue Star Mothers Against Child Abuse, Rolling Thunder Against Child Abuse.

Note : Free School Kids Day Gates open 9 am till 3 pm Friday.
Friday afternoon 4pm admission $7 Kids 5 & under Free Grand Entry 4 pm till 8 pm.

Spiritual Entertainment for the whole Family. Activities include Indian Dancers performing in Regalia, Powwow Drums, Dancing, Singing, Spiritual Dance & Drums, All Dancers Welcome, Anyone can try, no experience necessary, Children Events, Demonstrations, Ceremonies, Storytelling, Flint Striking, Face Painting, Crafts On Sale, Native American Food, Ice Cream & Italian Ice. Friendship & Intertribal Dances for everyone. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and stay all day. No alcohol or drugs permitted or discussed. No Pets allowed in the circle. Pets allowed on leash outside circle only.

Hickory Smoked Pit Cooked BBQ by Double Troubles, Powwow Eats, Ice Cream & Italian Ice by Funtime Concessions.

All Day Admission Saturday & Sunday, Adults $7 Children under 5 FREE. Gates open all 3 days 9am & closes 7pm. Grand Entry each day 11am. A Traditional Native American Intertribal Cultural Event. Dancers & Vendors needed. Motor Home Camping Available. No Power. Tent Camping. No Power. Outside Restrooms. No Showers.
