Western Nebraska's largest event continues the tradition of celebrating and honoring those stalwart individuals who settled the North Platte Valley. Annual events held in downtown Gering includes Western & Wildlife Art Show, Kiddie Parade, Oregon Trail Days Grand Parade (20,000 spectators), Chili Cookoff, Food and Craft Fair, Bed Races, and evening concerts at the Amphitheater.
