Small-town charm and backwoods revelry collide each year in early October for the annual Wright City Lumberjack Festival.

The festival celebrates the small town’s lumbering heritage with a host of lumberjack competitions, including ax throwing, cross-cutting, power saw bucking and more. The event also features food vendors, live music, arts and crafts vendors, a softball tournament, children’s activities, archery and turkey-calling competitions, log and carved boat races, soap box derbies, a quilt show, a 5K run and more.
