Henryetta Riding Club is hosting a Playday to Benefit the construction of trails at Nichols Park in Henryetta. These trails will be for the use of equestrians and hikers. 10:00 a.m.
This is a fine opportunity for beginners, and for those who would like to keep their horses in shape. It should be a great day for families and fun.
Events: Flag Race, Cloverleaf Barrels, Pole Bending and Egg and spoon Race.
Age groups: 6 & under, 7-9, 10-13, 14-17, and 18 and over.
Negative Coggings is Required and will be checked.

Woody Guthrie Statue and Mural
The Woody Guthrie Statue was dedicated at the 1998 Free Folk Festival and placed in a memorial park in downtown Okemah. Painted on a wall adjacent to the park is this mural illustrating the life of Woody done by artist, DeAnna Wilson.
