The Osage Nation is excited to announce their newest and tastiest event, the Annual National Indian Taco Championship, 10 AM to 4 PM located in Downtown Pawhuska, OK. To celebrate our new beginnings we have added the new category of "Dessert Indian Taco".

About our competition - There are two categories: the Classic or Traditional Indian Taco and the Dessert Indian Taco. Those entering The Classic or Traditional Indian Taco contest must include the following ingredients: Fry bread, Meat (also accepted Buffalo, Beefalo, lamb, venison or pork); Lettuce, Tomato, Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream, and Green Chilis (optional). The Dessert Indian Taco has no ingredient requirements or restrictions; however, it must include fry bread; fried or baked. Competitors please be creative, take risks, use seasonings that are unusual, top the Indian Taco with the unthinkable; whatever it takes to create a unique and of course, delicious Indian Taco. What we don't want is to count calories, fat grams, and carbohydrates!

Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st Place $1,500; 2nd Place $1,000; and 3rd Place $500.

You say you're more of an eater than a competitor, then come hungry and come prepared to feast on the best Indian Tacos, anywhere. Registration
forms are available on-line at www.osagetribe.org/tourism. Please return entries and the $20 registration fee to Osage Nation Tourism, 222 W. Main, Pawhuska , OK 74056 .
