Event Details
Come Friday night for the chili soup and ice cream crank off. Things get going
around 5:30pm till 7pm. Free movie after ice cream contest. (approx. 7pm)
Saturday there will be a 10am parade followed by games and races for children.
Free beef vegetable soup for lunch that is slow cooked over an open fire.
Afternoon bingo for everyone plus a tractor pull held at the ball diamond.
The evening will bring local entertainment and a cake walk. Local canning, baking and fresh vegetable judging will occur on Saturday morning. Your invited to come
and enjoy this community event that has been going on since the 1920's. Second weekend in October.

The Garfield County Court House built in 1934, is more than a government center for records and civic business. Walk around the beautifully landscaped square and see the sculpture of the Tri-State Music Festival by artist, Tasso Pitsiri, and the Boy Scout Statue of Liberty presented in 1950.

If you are fascinated by trains, you will like the Railroad Museum of Oklahoma. Within the museum compound, there are six cabooses from railroads that have served Enid (Union Pacific, BNSF, Grain Belt), a baggage car, motor cars, a three-dome tank car, and a 50-ton engine.
