Held in conjunction with Alva's Nescatunga Arts Festival, the quilt show is held in an air conditioned building on the beautiful square in down town Alva. We will be showing 50-70 quilts again this year.
Other activities included in the Necatunga Festival, are Crafters, Professional, and Amateur Artists,Woodworking booths, and the unusual Salt Fork Blacksmithing group.. Musicians, Local Dance troupes, and of course the food booths. This is a long running festival and is held on the downtown square outside when weather permits, if weather is inclement it is moved to the Fair grounds south of town. The quilt show however, remains in the Act One building on the north side of the square ..We welcome you...

Historic Churches
The Alva Friends Church was established in 1901 and located at this spot in 1919 as Alva's first Church. The Fire Bell was Fire Bellplaced in this church in Wichita, Kansas, in 1893, and was moved to Alva, Oklahoma, in 1895.
