Museum and study center to provide educational and cultural experiences for school groups and the general public. Programs and experiences are focused on historic house and grounds, a world-class mineral collection, and a Native American artifact collection.Tour includes:
- 1930's Tudor Revival home
- Eleven acres natural gardens
- Mineral collection of over 1,400 specimens from around the world
- Library of over 1,600 books
- Native American artifacts collected locally
- Scenes from "A Face in the Crowd" the 1956 movie filmed on site
- Museum store
Hours: Tuesday-Friday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Groups of 10 or more by appointment only
