Pomona Swimming and Water Sports Pomona Lake provides great boating, water skiing, swimming, sailing, jet skiing and sail boarding. Two marinas serve the lake with North Shore Marina near Michigan Valley Park on the north end of the dam and Lighthouse Bay Marina on the south shore of the lake within the State Park. Both provide fuel, fishing supplies and bait, boat rentals and a variety of convenience food items. Lighthouse Bay Marina also provides a snack bar and heated fishing dock. Michigan Valley Park and the Pomona State Park have public swimming beaches for sunbathers and swimmers.
