An outdoor concert by the Salisbury Symphony. No cost. Time: 8 - 10 pm Prelude to the Pops Hosted by the Merchants of Downtown Salisbury. Shops open until 8 pm, entertainment throughout the downtown. Childrens activities. An outdoor concert at the corner of W Innes and Church Street. (Rain site - Keppel Auditorium, Catawba College)

Located on the campus of Livingstone College, Heritage Hall is a repository of African, African-American, and African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church history, artifacts, literature, books and records. Open Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm.

Historic National Cemetery and Confederate Prison Site
Dedicated in 1874, this is the final resting place for veterans of all wars. Buried in 18 trench graves are 11,700 Union soldiers who died at the Salisbury Confederate Prison during the Civil War. Office open 8 am - 4:30
