The Great Outdoors Expo, sponsored by the Morganton Parks and Recreation Department, will showcase a multitude of products and services for lawn and garden care, including landscape and design, outdoor recreation, deck and patio, pools, lawn furniture, and garden equipment.

Apple Hill Orchard & Cider Mill
Family owned and operated, the orchard grows 12 varieties of apples and other fruits. The Farm Market offers fresh apples, jams/jellies, honey, cider spices, and home made cider. Open Mid August to December

An exact replica of the late senator's home library, it contains hundreds of books and treasures, many from his days as chairman of the Senate Watergate Hearings in the '70s. Located on the campus of Western Piedmont Community College. Open Mon-Fri, 8 am-5 pm.
