25 - 27 Memorial Weekend Flea Market & Craft Show - Visit our annual event with flea market, crafts, antiques, food and artist demonstrations of pottery, blacksmithing and rug weaving. Saturday- Monday May 26-28, 2015 from 10-5. Vendors will be set up in the park along the river and the shops and Indian Artifact Museum will be open.
An annual Memorial Day bike show should be stopping at 1 pm and will auction off a hand made quilt and will raffle off over $350 worth of Harley Davidson items. Open to the public. See the poster below on the bike ride if you want to join their ride that starts in Ottumwa contact Kim Bix at 641-684-2182 for more information.

28 - 29 Bentonsport Riverfest - The Bentonsport Riverfest is our largest festival of the year that is held during the peak of our spectacular fall foliage season, the second full weekend of October.

Bentonsport will host an Antique & Craft Show 10am-5pm both Saturday and Sunday with all specialty shops open, several vendors, food and country music entertainment. The Van Buren County Arts Fair will be held 10am-5pm with an artist reception on Saturday evening with raffle. The Indian Artifact Museum will be open 10am-5pm. No admission fee. The Bentonsport Cemetery Association will have a bake sale, noon meal, quilt raffle & prizes. On Saturday only, Nauvoo on the Road will demonstrate candle and rope-making, children's games and other pioneer pastimes from 10am-3pm. No admission fee.
