Waverly, OH Visitors Center Lake White State Park is located in Pike County, 30 miles north of Portsmouth. This picturesque lake nestled in the rugged hills of southern Ohio was built during the Great Depression by the Works Progress Administration. A century before, the area was part of the Ohio and Erie Canal system.
