Hollis, Oklahoma
Known as the "Gateway to Great Plains Country" and the "Irrigation Center of the Southwest," Hollis the county seat of Harmon County is noted for its excellent hunting and fishing, plentiful pastures and rich, flat farmland in southwestern Oklahoma.
Annually, the second Saturday of August, Hollis attracts visitors to the Blackeyed Pea Festival featuring the Harmon County Hee Haw and blackeyed pea meal, shelling contest, pea guess, free concert and parade.
