Berkeley Springs, West Virginia is a small town nestled in the hills of the eastern panhandle. It is one of the oldest spa towns in America and got its start when Native Americans discovered the healing properties of the town's hot springs. In colonial times, settlers started coming to Berkeley Springs for its natural therapeutic waters, and it grew to become quite a popular destination in the early 1800s.

Today, Berkeley Springs is home to a variety of attractions and activities that make it an ideal vacation spot for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Those visiting the area can enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and other outdoor activities at one of the many nearby lakes - including Lake Habee.
