Eagle Mountain Lake, TX

Located on the West Fork Trinity River, just north of Fort Worth and Lake Worth in Tarrant County. It has a surface area of 8,738 acres with a maximum depth of 47 feet and was impounded in 1932. The upper portion of the lake has reed beds. The lower and mid lake areas have numerous fishing piers and boat houses that act as cover and structure for fish. Rocky points and bluffs in the lower end of the lake can also hold fish. Two public boat ramps and a number of commercial facilities offer access to Eagle Mountain Lake. Many of these locations also offer courtesy docks, camping, swimming beaches and other amenities.
