Neosho River Parks, KS
Chetopa is located in the southeast corner of Kansas just a few miles from the Oklahoma-Missouri lines. The Neosho River runs along the east side of Chetopa and is a retreat for many fishermen and campers. We have two parks, East River Park and Elmore Park, with campsites and electrical hook-ups ready to meet the needs of campers and weary travelers needing a few days of rest and recreation. For those needing a place to stretch their legs we have Veterans Park which includes a swimming pool, play ground equipment, nice bathrooms, shelter houses with picnic benches and a Community Center. All three parks offer a location for family gatherings, picnics, games and community events.

East River Park ---- Has camping and fishing. East Park runs along the Neosho River, on the East side of the River Bridge. Electric hook-ups are available for R.V.'s or campers. There are a lot of trees which provide plenty of shade from the sun and shelter houses are also available.
