Cedar Ridge Cabins are located in the Hell Creek area directly south of Wilson State Park and Lake Wilson Marina. They provide an excellent view of Wilson Lake, the marina and the countryside surrounding Wilson Lake.

All cabins provide heating and air conditioning, showers, kitchens and bedrooms. Kitchens have electric range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and toaster Oven. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and utensils are also furnished. There are TV's with DVD. Each cabin has a porch and a picnic table.

Do remember that no pets are allowed inside any cabin and are to be kept outside on a leash. Smoking is not allowed in cabins. Cooking grills are not allowed on the porches. Beds are fitted with mattresses only so do bring your own bedding. Towels, soap and shampoo are NOT provided.

Our TWO BEDROOM CABINS have Two Double Beds and Two Twin Beds.

Cabins have Bath with lavatory and shower. The Kitchens include Dishes and Silverware, Pots, Pans, Toaster, Coffee Pot, and Microwave. There is a two burner Electric Range top/convection oven. A full size Regrigerator, Table and Chairs are also provided for your convenience. Central Heat and Air.

Some Recommended items to bring to make your stay more enjoyable are:

The Lodge Great Room contains one king bed (linens provided with electric mattress pad, towels are not), one twin bunkbed, one twin bunk over full bed, one twin bed, only bottom sheets are provided. Additionally, there are 4 extra cots with mattresses, 4 sleeping bags & 10 pillows. Portable crib/playpen & high chair available. There is no privacy for coziness. Additional camping in the kiosks.

KIOSKS: Kiosks are 3-sided camping cabins, they sleep 10 each in bunks (mattresses provided) additional guests on the deck of the kiosks (mattresses not provided). There is no power to the kiosks. LAKE VERA is a small private lake, there are a variety of water craft for your use including 6 canoes. Life jackets are provided and required for all boaters. No fishing license is needed. A picnic area, large fire ring and stage are located on the waterfront, accommodating 60. The lake is drained from about November (depending on rainy season) to mid-April and water level begins to drop in August and can be quite low in dry summers. There is an ALL-Lake quiet from 9:30-7:00. Only activities that do not create a noise disturbance are allowed.

The site can be rented various ways, either by day, overnight, weekend or weekly. For couples, families or small groups, you might want only the lodge; for larger groups, the additional kiosks can be used. Whatever you decide, it all comes with waterfront use. Small cabin on the property may be also rented at the same time if the entire site is not rented by your group. Inquire at time of rental if this is a concern for you. Total site capacity is 60 (including the cabin). Motor Homes and School Busses can navigate our entrance, but not large Coaches. We do not have RV hook-ups or the capacity to run extension cords.

PETS: Well behaved owners with good citizen dogs are welcome, however the lodge is a licensed commercial kitchen and has all new furniture, dogs are not allowed in the kitchen or on furniture. Please help us to remain pet friendly by observing this and using pet gate. Dogs must have current rabies vaccination. It is recommended that dogs be treated 3 days before your arrival with a topical flea and tick medication such as "Advantix".

Kibbie Kabin is a cedar log cabin nestled in the dense woods near Oblong, IL of Crawford County in Southern Illinois. You will enjoy the picturesque setting overlooking the one-acre pond that is nicely stocked with channel cat, bluegill, redear, hybrid sunfish and bass. This pond offers excellent fishing as well as a refreshing swim. The water is kept clean, and being spring fed, is fresh and cool even in the sweltering summer days. It is located on a tract of 130 acres of land that includes a variety of terrains. It consists of 80 acres of woodland, 34 acres of cropland, and 16 acres of grasslands, parts being creek bottom. This offers the best habitat possible for great whitetail deer hunting! Not only is there good deer hunting but there is also an abundance of wild turkey. This beautiful forest is woven with miles of mowed trails for hiking or access to your game.

The cabin is a one-room red cedar log cabin. The aroma is relaxing while you rest in front of the gas fireplace. As well as the fireplace it also has electric heat and air conditioning. There is plenty of hot water for your shower or doing the dishes. It sleeps four with two in the loft and two in the sofa bed. The cabin is fully furnished with dishes, silverware, cups, glasses, cooking utensils, pots and pans, coffeepot, toaster, crock-pot, two burner stove, microwave, refrigerator, blow dryer, towels, toilet paper, paper towels and bedding. Settling down in the evening is easy while you watch one of the satellite TV channels which includes the locals. Maybe you want to watch a movie on the DVD player or VCR. Many movie selections are available. Some books and games are supplied. Provided outside are a picnic table, fire pit with grill, and a fish cleaning station with running water. Firewood is provided. This is a non-smoking facility.

A second cabin is now being constructed. It will be available for rent around October 1. It is larger than the first and will sleep eight. All the same amenities will be available.
