Schuetzen Park Historic Site

This site holds many special memories for generations of local German-Americans and other area residents. In 1870, the Davenport Schützengesellschaft (later called the Schützen Verein) created this "Schützenpark"

Vander Veer Botanical Park

Historic botanical park with conservatory and growing house, outdoor gardens, fountains, and sculpture. Nationally recognized rose garden and Hosta Glade, and the largest public rose garden in the Quad Cities. Admission fee for conservatory only.

Putnam Museum of History and Natural Science/IMAX Theatre

Permanent exhibits feature Mississippi River history and natural environments of the region as well as worldwide cultures. Changing exhibits, museum store, and 3D IMAX Theater.

Formerly the Davenport Museum of Art, the Figge Art Museum is housed in a new facility overlooking the Mississippi River. Regionalist, Haitian, Mexican Colonial, American, and contemporary art collections, along with extensive traveling exhibit schedule. Restaurant, museum store.
