Carter House Museum

View one of the best examples of Greek Revival architecture in Iowa, built in 1850. Exhibits include Victorian clothing and furniture, military and pharmacy items, antique tools, and photographs from the 1800s.

Motor Mill Historic Site

Visit the six-story limestone mill and four other limestone buildings in the settlement of Motor, which existed only from 1869-1883. Hike rugged trails in nearby hills. Primitive camping, canoe access.
