Philippi, WV Other EventsThis is the opening day for the mansion house and barn. The program features crafts that would have been a way of life in 1870 at Adaland and include traditional cooking, weaving, basketmaking, wood working and more. Also, tours of house and barn. "History Alive" presentation included.
Philippi, WV Other EventsGuided tours will be offered at 10 AM and 2 PM. Maps and brochures are available on request. A box lunch will be provided at Adaland from 12 Noon until 2 PM. Please request information if you need a ride. There will be an additional $5.00 charge for providing a ride. Admission - $15
