Waco Lake offers a wide variety of hunting opportunities including: dove, early teal, duck, archery, deer gun season, and spring turkey hunting. There are 9 Wildlife Management Areas that consist of approximately 2,000

Waco Lake Fishing

There are over 51 species of fish which inhabit Waco Lake. The 6 major species which anglers catch regularly include Largemouth Bass, White Bass, Crappie, Channel Catfish, Blue Catfish and Yellow Catfish.
