Meredith Willson Boyhood Home

In 1902 Meredith Willson, who immortalized his hometown of Mason City as River City in "The Music Man," was born in this 1895 house. It is now filled with family memorabilia, musical treasures and period furnishings.

Frank Lloyd Wright Stockman House

Wright's first Iowa building, designed in 1908, restored and furnished with Arts and Crafts furniture and reproductions of period Wright furniture. The only middle-class home of his Prairie School period that is open to the public in the U.S.
