, KS CampingFrequent flooding and resultant high reservoir levels makes fisheries management challenging. Flushing of fish through the dam gates does occur, and fish are numerous in the spillway below the dam. All anglers fishing in the spillway are required to wear personal floatation devices.
, KS FishingThe Hickory Creek Trail is a multi-use trail for the hiker, horseback rider, and mountain biker. The trail length is currently 16 miles but with the placement of two bridges to cross the branches of Hickory Creek it is planned to lengthen the trail to over 30 miles.
