The nation's first federally-protected stream and one of America's great natural treasures, the Buffalo River meanders through the Ozarks for almost 150 miles before joining the White River. Located on the town square; open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The museum is normally closed on Sunday and Monday; however, advance arrangements can be made to conduct special showings for groups of 10 or more.
