There are two new exhibits: One is an exhibit of the Rose Massacre which took place within 200 yards of where Fort Mojave was later built. They were a group of emigrants on their way to California and when they got to the river, the Indians attacked. Fourteen people lost their lives in that massacre. Along with the Rose exhibit is one of Sally Fox, a 12 year old girl that sounded the alarm. She received an arrow through her right breast. The other exhibit is one of Olive Oatman, the white girl that was captured by the Apache Indians and later sold to the Mojaves. She was later freed and she returned to civilization.
