Written by Connecticut geologist Greg McHone. With field trips to sites in Salem, East Haddam, Deep River, East Hampton, Pomfret, Fairfield, Kent, Portland, Rocky Hill, Manchester, East Granby, Simsbury, Middlefield, Middletown, Meriden, Southbury, Madison, Essex, East Haddam, Ledyard, Bristol, Groton, East Hartford and New Haven.
