Exhibits of tools, artifacts and photographs depict the role of agriculture in communal Amana. Located in a restored 1860 barn.

Amana Colonies Visitors Center

Industrial Machine Shop Museum

The Industrial Machine Shop Museum dates back to 1860 and was the original repair shop for the Amana Woolen Mill. The museum still contains equipment original to the building. Machinery was driven by a central line shaft and was powered by the water wheel turned by the millrace canal.

High Amana General Store

Original village store appears much as it did 150 years ago, and offers a variety of merchandise. An Amana Heritage Society museum store.

Amana Arts Guild Gallery

Former church building houses attic gallery with changing exhibits. Sales shop features authentic, handcrafted folk art produced by Amana artisans. Quilts, baskets, lackwork, tinware, pottery, needlework, woodwork and fine art.
