View prehistoric American Indian burial and ceremonial mounds, dating from 500 B.C. to 1300 A.D., on more than 2,500 acres of forested land along the Mississippi River bluffs. The visitor center contains auditorium, museum, bookstore, displays and restrooms. Other natural resources include restored tallgrass prairies and wetlands, and 13.5 miles of hiking trails.
