Coronado Theatre

category : Historic Theatres
Coronado Theatre The Coronado Theatre is a fantastically ornate movie palace and Vaudeville hall built in 1927 and restored in 2000. The Coronado hosted legends of show business, the Marx Brothers and Milton Berle. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Coronado showed its first "talkie," the Jazz Singer, in 1928 starring Al Jolsen.

A delightful mishmash of "entertainment baroque," the Coronado is the venue for many performing arts groups and traveling shows.
