The original Saline Co. Pauper Farm, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is now a 3 story museum on the 3 1/2 acre grounds. Also see and touch a mean old jail, an 1859 one room school, the Cain Church, several 1800 log cabins, a barn, and country store. All are from the area and moved to this site.
This Cemetery, called the Pauper Cemetery has burials going as far back as 1849 contains stone markers with records of 263 burials at least 60
