Emporia, Kansas

This house was built in 1898, and features an asymmetrical front facade, spindlework and multiple shingle styles in addition to the clapboard siding. Stained glass and art glass windows are found throughout the two-and-a-half-story house. Unusual wood brackets at the two-story bay and a wooden hood over the dining room window further enhance the multiple elements of the Victorian style. A carriage house is at the back.
