Hesston, Kansas

Lion's Club Children's Park - This park is one of Hesston's most beautiful and includes attractive landscaping, new playground equipment and shaded picnic areas. This park has recently been renovated by the Lions Club and City of Hesston to include:

  • A sensory park for visually impared
  • A wheelchair swing and
  • A new gazebo with water fountain

Children's Park is located on West Knott between Roupp and Hess Streets, west of the city baseball diamond.

King Park - King Park is located at the corner of Ridge Road and Lincoln Boulevard, north of the high school and offers several activities for children as well as adults. Some of those activities include playground equipment, a sledding hill, sand vollyball court, picnic areas and an indoor community use facility. The King Park Shelterhouse can be rented for activities.

Hickory Park - Hickory Park is located at the corner of Hickory Street and Ridge Road and provides playground equipment and basketball courts for residents on the south side of town and Country Village mobile home park.

Emma Creek Park - Emma Creek Park is located on Hickory Street on the back nine of the golf course (near the 15th hole tee box). This park provides several picnic areas with an outdoor canopy, playground equipment and is the beginning of a jogging path that covers part of the back nine of the golf course and finishes at Randall Street.

Heritage Park - Heritage Park is located across the street from the Middle School and one block south of the Elementary School. It treatures several pieces of playground equipment with many large, beautiful trees that provide a shaded environment. Heritage Park also has a shelterhouse that is available for rental. The Heritage Park Shelterhouse can be rented.
