Hutchinson Art Center The Hutchinson Art Center is both a fine art museum and commercial gallery. Since 1949, this non-profit institution has endeavored to promote the study and development of interest and education in the Fine Arts, and to promote and aid in the development of artists.

The Center has three galleries that rotate exhibitions. One gallery offers the sale of original work by regional contemporary artists. Another gallery exhibits a portion of the Center's permanent collection. The Center has collected an impressive array of internationally recognized artists including Birger Sandzen, Georges Roualt, Grant Wood, John Stuart Curry, Lester Raymer, Thomas Hart Benton, Romeo Tabuena and Alex Potter.

The third and largest gallery is used to host traveling and/or temporary exhibitions of a variety of types of art. The Center also has an education area that is constantly being used for a variety of types of art classes for many different age groups.
