Trapping: Perry's marshes offer some of the best muskrat, mink, and beaver trapping in northeast Kansas. Raccoons, coyotes, opossums, and skunks are also trapped, and bobcats are sometimes taken.

Trappers should use caution because of the many dogs on the area. Especially during upland seasons.
