Recreation at Perry Reservoir Swimming: Enjoy a refreshing swim at one of our Sand Beaches... which offer restroom and shower facilities.

Water skiing: Perry Reservoir covers over 11,500 acres which makes water skiing just about perfect even on windy days. Concrete boat ramps are conveniently located around Perry lake.

Sailing: Some of the Best Sailing in the Mid-West is waiting for you at Perry Lake... Over 600 sailboats from 16' to 40' in length make Perry Lake their home from March through November. There are two public Sail Harbors with Full Services available and a Private Sail Harbor owned and operated by Perry Yacht Club. Dock space is available at all three. Sailing regattas are conducted on weekends by various sailing clubs... with races in several classes from Cruising Sail Boats to Catamarans, which may be seen skimming across the water powered only by the Kansas breeze against their colorful sails. Hobie Fleet 149 sails out of Perry State Park every weekend and is host to seven Regattas each year. Sail Boarding is also very popular in the lake.

Boating: Hundreds of power boats in all sizes cruise Perry Lake every season including House Boats up to 52' in length, Cabin Cruisers up to 42', Pontoon Boats, Bass Boats, Run-abouts and Jet Skis. If you own a boat, come and see the sights and have a good time on Perry Lake There are two full service marinas on the lake offering fuel, repair service, bait, convenience stores and restaurants.

Picnic Grounds: Perry Lake offers many scenic areas for public use. What could be than dining in the great outdoors while enjoying the natural beauty of the Lake, the Woods and the Wildlife.

Hiking: Nature lovers will enjoy the 29 mile Perry Lake Trail. Winding through the historical and beautiful countryside, this trail offers the chance for an upclose view of the beauty of Northeast Kansas.

Camping: If you like camping, you'll love Perry Lake where you can pitch a tent or park your RV. There are over 1000 sites with 30% full hookups complete with restrooms and showers. There are maps of trails and campgrounds at the corp office.

Fishing & Hunting: There is plenty of Crappie, Catfish, Walleye, Largemouth, and White bass to challenge the best fishermen. Perry Lake is noted nationally as the best Crappie Lake by 2 major magazines. Ice fishing is great in the winter. Hunters find a variety of game including Quail, Pheasant, Duck, Wild Turkey or Deer. Hunting is restricted to certain areas in season only. State License required.

Wildlife: Perry Lake is abundant with wildlife. Bald Eagles can be seen in fall and winter, as well as many other species of birds. Please shoot only with your camera and help us preserve the wildlife.

Bike Trails: The head of the Bike Trails are located in the Delaware Area Parking Lot... trail maps & information are available at the Perry State Park Office.

Boat Rental: Ski Boats, Pontoons, PWC's, and Fishing Boats in various may be rented at Lake Perry Yacht and Marina located at the East end of the Dam.

Equestrian Trails: Trail head originates at Perry State Park and continues through 22 miles of beautiful country. Riders may enjoy views of Lake, Prairie Lands, and Woods along the way. Horse trailer parking, camping facilities, potable water, restrooms. shower facilities & hydrants are available.
