1102 Main - This brick structure was built in the nearby town of Eustis in 1886. When Goodland was awarded the title of [1102 Main] County Seat the building was dismantled brick by brick, moved to Goodland and rebuilt in one month. It was the first brick building and the first bank in the county and the city.
The brick streets were laid in 1921 by a Native American, Jim Brown. He laid them alone, as fast as five men could bring him the brick, and so accurately no adjustment was needed.
