First Baptist Church of Bethel is a church organized in 1872. In the early day they worshiped inside the old Pomeroy school houses until they build a permanent building. First Baptist church of Bethel site on the corner of 75th and Leavenworth Road, an acre of land given by the son of a founding father name Thomas Benton in which the church sits today.
