The Bank of Aliceville

category : Historic Buildings
The Bank of Aliceville Time has stood still for the Farmers State Bank in Aliceville. It has been in business since 1908. The ornate oak tellers' cages, with their copper grillework, beveled glass panels, and marble baseboard, were taken from a bank at Westphalia, and they give a good idea of what oldtime banks looked like.

The embossed tin ceilings are original to the building.
