Located on the Neosho River at the north end of town, the dam is easily accessible and known for its wide variety of fish.
Strip Pits
Left from mining days and located a few miles east of Oswego, provide excellent hunting and fishing with a total of 8,200 acres of public land and water.
Nationally acclaimed sports artist, Ted Watts, maintains a studio here and tours may be arranged. Sports Illustrated described Watts as "one of the fastest-rising sports illustrators in the country."
