Wilson County Veterans Memorial Located on the northwest corner of the Wilson County Courthouse lawn, this privately-funded memorial honors veterans from Wilson County. Additional veteran's names can be added for a fee to cover engraving costs. Information is available from the project manager, Ralph Holland, at Timmons Funeral Home, 620-378-4111.

This charming bandstand was built in 1932 as a W.P.A. project. The roof was destroyed in the early 1960's and local residents and businesses donated money to rebuild it, with a picture from the county museum as the only guide.
