John Redmond Corps Parks John Redmond Reservoir has five recreation parks which provide camping and picnicking facilities. These facilities include camping units (table, cooker, lantern stand, and parking pad), potable water, and sanitation facilities. Also provided are group shelters, toilet facilities, swimming beaches, and boat launching ramps.

Damsite: Designated Campsites, Electricity/Water, Restrooms, Showers, Trailer Dump Station, Swim Beach, Hiking Nature Trail, Equestrian Trail, Boat Ramp/Dock.

Riverside West: Designated Campsites, Electricity/water, Restrooms, Showers, Trailer Dump Station, Hiking Nature Trail, Playground, Boat Ramp.
Sites 13 through 26 now have 50 amp electrical service. The shower building in this park is ADA compliant. A newly completed fishing dock is located at the downstream end of the park next to campsite 37. Two fish feeders are placed near the fishing dock. A universal access concrete ramp provides access to the fishing dock. No mooring of boats will be permitted from the dock.

John Redmond Fishing

Frequent flooding and resultant high reservoir levels makes fisheries management challenging. Flushing of fish through the dam gates does occur, and fish are numerous in the spillway below the dam. All anglers fishing in the spillway are required to wear personal floatation devices.
