Holton, Kansas

What once started with 6 grape vines planted in 1997 has now transpired into more than 2 acres of vineyards. The winery was added in the summer of 2005 and is available for small gatherings. Beautiful rolling pastures and timber, a nearby pond, wildflowers, birds and native grasses await you as tour the vineyard. Contact Ray and Becky Campbell, owners, for further information!

Hotel Josephine is a reminder of the days when 14 passenger trains daily served the Holton community. The hotel was built by prominent Holtonian A.D. Walker in 1889 who financed construction of the two story red brick building by selling stock subscriptions to fellow townspeople.
