Ulysses, Kansas

Located in the Museum Complex, the Old Edwards Hotel was cut into three sections for moving in 1909, when all buildings in the old town were loaded on skids and moved three miles across the prairie to the present location of Ulysses. This part of the hotel is still standing, the remains of the last business building moved from the old town.

It has been restored to its original appearance, as the rooms are cleverly "disarranged" as though the occupant just stepped away and will be right back.
