Lower Kennebec Regional Land Trust

category : Other Attractions
The Lower Kennebec Regional Land Trust was established in 1989 as a membership supported, non-profit conservation land trust dedicated to protecting, for public benefit, the open space and natural environment of the lower Kennebec River watershed. Working with private land owners, like minded conservation groups and government agencies, we have helped to protect over 2,253 acres of natural habitat, a significant part of which is owned or monitored by the LKRLT. We currently hold conservation easements on 705 acres and own 700 acres of land.
