You can almost hear the blazing guns of the Civil War and the rhymic clatter of wagon wheels echo through the grounds of this magnificent estate. The Bingham-Waggoner, once owned by artist George Caleb Bingham, was witnessed the best of American heritage with its fron trow seat on the Santa FE and Oregon Trails. It has seen the despair of blody battles as the western-most border of the Civil War. Today about 95% of its furnishings on display are original to its owners.
