Jamesport, Missouri is home to the largest Old Order Amish Settlement west of the Mississippi River. Step-On-Tour guide for 25 years, Jim Smith will go with your group and lead you on an entertaining and educational tour back in time to get an inside look at people who live every day without the use of electricity and use horses for all of their work and transportation just as our ancestors did 100 years ago. You will meet an Amish family and tour their home, stables, and farm. Stops are made at the Amish Country Stores where you may purchase a wide variety of Amish crafted items: furniture, quilts, baskets, bakery goods, and much more. Learn how and why these people live as they do in today's modern world armed with only an 8th grade education.

Tour is 2 1/2 hours. Because of the popularity of this tour, RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
