We have been featured in many publications including Southern Living, Cuisine, The Saturday Evening Post and Fedor's. The Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and nestled in the village's Historic District, facing Silver Lake Harbor, just down from the Ocracoke Lighthouse. The main building offers traditional rooms with the ambience of a country inn. Some offer panoramic views of the harbor. All rooms in the main building are nonsmoking. NEW in 1999 are the Island Inn Villas. They are 2 & 3 bedroom luxury condominiums that are very spacious with white oak floors, full kitchens, washers and dryers and beautiful views of the harbor and village. We also offer a newer wing with more modern surroundings where each room opens onto a deck adjacent to the heated swimming pool area.During the off season and winter months, room rates include a full breakfast in our restaurant for two. Guests also receive a dinner discount for staying with us. We are Ocracoke's only Inn and Restaurant! Our Dining Room is legendary on Ocracoke and the Outer Banks.
